2026 Poultry Schedule & Ordering Details

New Breeds: For our 2026 season we will be offering Welsummer and White Silkies as RTL’s. Buff Brahma is no longer being offered.
Changes:
* We will be offering the Ciara Sasso as day old and RTL. The Irona will not be available for our 2026 season.
* Ivory Sasso – The parent genetics have changed on the Ivory resulting in a larger bird and slightly less egg production.
* Turkeys will be offered from March 31 to mid-September (see your Availability Schedule)
* Ducks will be offered from mid-April to end of August (see your Availability Schedule)
Extended the # of Pickup Dates :
14 pickup days, from March 18th to September 23rd

Order Requirements:
Day Old's: Minimum Order - 5
- Less than 10 birds add $8.00 small order fee
Ready to Lay: Minimum Order - 2
- Less than 10 birds add $8.00 small order fee
Note: All orders (Day Old's and/or RTL) are subject to a $14.00 (+tx) delivery fee

Payment: All orders must be paid 1 month in advance of pickup. Cash, Debit, etransfer (mindenmercantile@gmail.com). Credit card payments subject to 3% fee.
Order Cancellation: a minimum of 3 weeks prior to scheduled pickup date required.
Orders Not Picked-Up: We will make multiple attempts to contact customers to confirm pickup dates/times. However, birds not picked up will be given to any willing customer by end of day on day of scheduled pickup. We do not store birds overnight. There are no refunds, as we do not get reimbursed from the Hatchery for orders that are not picked up.
Additional Terms & Conditions: The Mercantile & Feed provides poultry ordering & pickup as a value-added service. Those who don't support the store by purchasing *feed or supplies* before or on poultry pickup day are subject to an additional $35.00 fee at time of order pickup.
